Early this morning, on November 6, 2025 our dear friend and Coach, Tony Vargas passed away to be with our Lord.

Tony was full of life. He loved his family with all his heart. Watching his grandkids grow up was one of his biggest pleasures.

As most of you know Tony loved football. He gave his heart, soul and time coaching for The Selma Bandits. He loved coaching these kids and wanted to make a difference in their lives, which he did.

Tony would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. That's just the kind of man he was. He has given back so much to the Selma Community and never asked for anything in return.

Today was a shock to not only his family but for all of those who knew him, and Tony knew alot of people.

All money from this gofundme will go directly to his family to help with funeral costs. Anything helps.

Tony, you were our friend and coach. We love you and will miss you greatly. You will always be part of our family.
