Honor Their Memory: Support Milo Foundation

Tax deductible
Hi,

My name is Alex, I was Melody's friend and the salon owner at Elixir Salon where she had worked for the last 18 years. I would like to offer this fundraiser to the Milo Foundation as a way for us all to honor and remember Melody.

Two years ago Mel fostered Berry and brought him to the salon. While she insisted she would only be fostering, all in the salon that encountered the two of them suspected otherwise. One thing led to another and a beautiful relationship was born. It was really nice to witness Melody come into her own as a dog mom, Berry is so loving and sweet, he was becoming quite the “good boy” at the shop.

It was nice to hear about dog parks, play dates and trail walks, Mel also dogsat other dogs.

I thought it would be fitting to direct our loving energy to the same organization that brought them together, I am sure this would make her happy.

Milo Foundation

The mission of the Milo Foundation is to rescue adoptable at-risk animals, match them to homes best suited to provide lifetime care, rehabilitate those who need it, offer sanctuary to those who are not placed, and educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, including spay/neuter.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact. Even just a few dollars can help move this mission forward and reach those who need it most.

If you can’t donate right now, sharing this fundraiser is also incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It means the world to me.
