The Bankers Hill Community Group is raising funds to commemorate San Diego's oldest bridge, located right here in our neighborhood. The Quince Street Footbridge was constructed in 1905 allowing streetcar riders easy access across the canyon. This neighborhood wooden trestle bridge allows travelers to walk across (and above) beautiful Maple Canyon from Third to Fourth avenues at Quince Street. One of San Diego's few treasured historic resources with no identification. It's time to honor this Bankers Hill gem.
