Honor the Life & Legacy of Ms. Hazel Johnson

Ms. Hazel Johnson—a beloved mother, friend, sister, faithful servant, and cherished member of our community. We are raising $4,000 to help cover the cost of her cremation and funeral arrangements. Any remaining funds after funeral arrangements will go directly toward caring and supporting the children she selflessly loved and raised.

Hazel was a true reflection of Christ’s love. Though only one of the five children in her care was biologically hers, you’d never know it—she loved each of them as her own. Her children were her world. Every decision she made was rooted in what was best for them.

Hazel had a bright and gentle spirit. Her beautiful smile lit up every room, and she was always ready to serve. Whether helping serve on Wednesday nights or attending Bible studies, Hazel’s heart was always open. She never hesitated to ask questions to deepen her faith, seeking to grow closer to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Her presence was a blessing to Bethel, Ridge Spring and the surrounding community. Now, we have the opportunity to return a small portion of the love she gave so freely.
