Honor the Life and Legacy of Mother Pearl Williams
Donation protected
We humbly come to you in a time of great loss to celebrate and honor the life of Mother Pearl Williams, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, community leader, missionary, and humanitarian who gave over 60 years of selfless service to the Southside and Westside communities of Chicago.
Mother Pearl transitioned from this life leaving behind not only a grieving family but an entire city blessed by her tireless service and compassion. Her unexpected passing has left her family with significant and urgent funeral and memorial expenses. We are raising money to help cover the cost of these final arrangements and to allow her loved ones to give her the homegoing celebration she so richly deserves.
A Legacy of Service
Mother Pearl Williams was the co-founder of Mana Outreach and Resource, an organization that provided emergency assistance to families, individuals with disabilities, seniors, and those experiencing homelessness. Her mission was simple yet powerful: to love and serve others in their time of need.
Whether it was delivering hot meals, distributing clothing, praying for the sick, or mentoring young women and men, Pearl gave everything she had to help others rise.
She served faithfully on numerous church boards and held the honored role of missionary, ministering to those often forgotten. She was also a gifted vocalist, lending her voice to several gospel quartet groups and bringing encouragement and inspiration through song.
A Matriarch Who Led With Love
Mother Pearl was the proud mother of two children, grandmother to four, and great-grandmother to six. She was a source of strength, wisdom, and warmth to everyone who knew her—and a true foundation for her family and community alike.
