ROOM DEDICATION

FOR MRS. TERRI C. HARMEYER

Hi. I am Tom Harmeyer, Terri's husband for 39 years. Funny thing -- she was already an amazing teacher long before we married.

Now that she is retired, Terri told me she wants her Menard classroom, Room 409, to be dedicated, specifically to her 20 years of service and teaching excellence in that room.

I know she never asks for anything for herself, so it's obvious how important this is to her.

Last week, I met with the Menard principal and his assistants; they want to see Terri's room dedicated, too.

We agreed to give it extra significance by raising a minimum of $10,000 for the school, to benefit academics specifically. I took on that task.

So I am personally contacting our family members, special friends and grateful parents and alums. And I am reaching out through gofundme to the people I can't reach personally.

Her room dedication would be part of the larger effort to renovate the entire classroom building.

We clearly have enough support here to make the goal but I believe you and many others would want to participate in this project. Anyway, for Terri's sake, I want to significantly exceed the goal.
