It is with the heaviest of hearts that i share the heartbreaking news of the unexpected passing of our beloved Tawante Sykes. Tawante was tragically involved in a train accident and, sadly, did not survive. Her sudden loss has left our family and community in deep pain and disbelief.

Tawante was a beautiful soul who brought light and love to everyone she encountered. She was a devoted mother who leaves behind several loving, beautiful children who adored her deeply. This year, her joy reached new heights when her son made her a grandmother for the first time — a role she was so proud to embrace and one she loved with all her heart.

Unfortunately, Tawante did not have insurance, and the financial obligations of her unexpected passing has fallen on the family. We are humbly asking for donations to help cover her funeral expenses, burial, and repass. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a difference and is truly appreciated during this difficult time.
