Tammy Paul passed away on October 31st, 2025, at the young age of 55. Though her journey on earth was far from easy, Tammy touched countless lives with her strength, humor, and generosity. Adopted at just three years old, Tammy’s life began as an uphill battle. Growing up, she often felt different from her adoptive siblings and struggled to find her place. But despite being pushed away and misunderstood by her adoptive family, Tammy never let bitterness take root in her heart. Instead, she found family in her friends—those who saw her for the kind, loyal, and vibrant soul she truly was.

Life tested Tammy many times. There were moments she faced homelessness, uncertainty, and heartbreak. But in true Tammy fashion, she never stopped fighting. She found freedom and pride in becoming a truck driver—a job that let her see the beauty of the country she loved so much. She was known for her strong will, her fierce opinions, her smile, and infectious laugh that could light up any room. Even when she didn’t have much, she would give you her last dollar, her time, or the shirt off her back. Her spirit was generous beyond measure.

Tammy’s love for life shined brightest through her laughter, her love of 80s music, and her unapologetic individuality. “Big Fun” by Inner City was more than just her favorite song—it was her anthem, because that’s exactly who she was: *big fun.* In her final months, Tammy found deep peace in her faith and grew closer to God. She lived each day with devotion and gratitude, even as she faced one of the hardest battles of her life. Despite multiple surgeries and unimaginable pain, she fought courageously until the very end, showing the same resilience and strength that defined her life.

With no surviving family, it’s now up to those who loved her to ensure her final wish—to be buried, not cremated—is honored. Tammy may not have had much materially, but she gave everything she had in love and kindness.
