Takiesha Nicole Smith

Takiesha Smith was a beloved sister, daughter, cousin, and friend whose recent unexpected passing, due to medical complications, has left our family heartbroken. In the middle of this devastating loss, our family is now facing the difficult responsibility of making arrangements to give Takiesha the loving farewell she deserves. Takiesha meant so much to so many people. She was a huge supporter of the Portland music community, independent businesses, and a mentor and peer supporter for individuals struggling with addictions. She was deeply loved, and her love for our family was something she shared proudly and often with her friends.

This fundraiser will help our family cover the funeral and memorial expenses that have come so suddenly, including cremation, transportation, an urn for her ashes, a funeral or memorial service, a reception for family and friends, and other necessary funeral-home and memorial costs. Our family is asking for support from friends, loved ones, the community, and anyone moved to help. No donation is too small, and if giving is not possible, sharing this fundraiser would mean so much. Most of all, our family asks for your prayers, love, and kind thoughts as they honor Takiesha’s life, grieve this painful loss, and remember the lasting impact she made on everyone around her.
