In Loving Memory of Suleika Ali

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un — Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.

Our beloved Suleika Ali returned to her Creator at just 20 years old. Suleika was the light of every room — the one whose laughter filled hearts, whose presence lifted spirits, and whose kindness made everyone feel at home. She was loved by all who met her and was a source of strength, joy, and protection for her family and community.

Suleika came from a family of fourteen, and she carried her role as a sister and daughter with so much love and responsibility. She was reliable, full of energy, and always the first to show up — whether to help, to cheer someone up, or simply to make everyone laugh. Her heart was big, her faith was strong, and her spirit was unforgettable.

To honor her beautiful soul, we are raising funds to build a water well in Somalia, in areas where clean water is desperately needed. This well will serve as a sadaqah jariyah — a continuous charity — so that every drop of water given in her name continues to bring her reward in the Hereafter.

We pray that this act of love reflects who Suleika was: giving, compassionate, and always there for others.

May Allah accept this on her behalf, forgive her sins, expand her grave, and reunite us all in Jannah.
