We are asking for help from our friends and family to make sure we send our Big Brother Stevie Earl Smith home the right way. Our beloved brother crossed over the river of Jordan on February 13th. Steve was the oldest sibling of the Smith family and was very loved and respected by all who came to know him.

Steve played basketball for Hobbs High, where he was a varsity standout. After his high school years, he was recruited to Texas Tech University, where he played for four years and had a great career. After his playing days, Steve moved to Denver, Colorado, where he lived for many years until returning back to Lubbock, TX, to care for our mother, whom he loved dearly.
