Honor Steven of ReDeux by helping Dale

As Dale so eloquently wrote:
"Steven fought HARD and COURAGEOUSLY with all the obstacles he's faced the past few years regarding his health.....
shoulder replacement surgery, then bypass surgery to his left leg, then another bypass surgery to the same leg again at the beginning of 2019, then two attempts at hip replacement surgery this summer, only to fall back a couple notches in September due to the blood clots that had formed in his lungs.
It appears like a blood clot made it's way to his heart..."
Dale and Steven spent the last 14 years building a business from a small pile of cash traveling the country doing Junk Shows. They also became the industry Gold Standard not only for their quality of craftsmanship, show stopping displays, unmatched work ethic but mainly for the way they treated their fellow makers.
The last few years have been difficult as Steven's health declined and Dale pushed harder and worked longer to keep ReDeux producing at the same level of craftsmanship they had always been known for. They had been dreaming and planning to convert their garage into a work shop. They wanted to be at home close to their dogs when they weren't on the road. Those plans kept getting delayed each year as Steven's battles kept getting harder. He was not able to help Dale do the physical work to keep the home up much less do a major conversion.
I've watched Dale and Steven talking about their plans. I loved how their faces would light up at the thought of being able to work out of their home. I realized how this change alone would give them back part of their lives. You have no idea how many nights they painted until wee hours of the morning to have to drive home exhausted just to wake up and do it again the next day.
The life of a maker isn't easy but always fulfilling. There are tough choices to be made that are sometime dictated by cash flow. Steven had health insurance but no life insurance.
Many people are wondering how they can help out right now.
This Go Fund Me is to help with the costs associated with final resting expenses. It's to cover household bills that don't stop coming in because someone you love passed away. And if there is any money left Dale and Steven's Family want to honor Steven's memory by seeing the ReDeux Boys Dreams for their 1937 home become a reality.
If your life was touched by Dale and Steven and you want to give back to help Dale move forward now is your chance. Helping with the financial burden of final resting expenses will allow Dale to keep the wheels of ReDeux and Covered Hiney ShirtHouse rolling.
If you ever shared a shot of Fireball with Steven...and if you read this far I guarantee you did at least once...join me in giving back.
Thank You for your love and support,
Tamara
