To everyone whom ever got the chance to meet Socorro, you would know that she was a very loving, selfless, kind hearted, and generous person. She devoted her entire life to caring for all of those whom surrounded her to the extent that she missed the signs when her body warned her that she was ill. Sadly last month she was diagnosed with Stage 4 bone cancer which metastasized to the brain and she passed three weeks after being diagnosed.

As her family is grieving this unimaginable loss, we want to come together as a community to support them in their time of need. The sudden financial burdens can be overwhelming, especially on a retired fixed income. We hope to ease the burden so they can focus on healing and remembering the beautiful life Socorro lived.

Socorro’s legacy will live in the hearts of those who loved her. Let’s honor her by surrounding her family with love, the same love and support she always showed to others.
