It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our dear brother, Shiva Baum—a radiant soul, a devoted son, and a pillar in the global Bhakti community. Shiva was more than a friend to so many of us—he was family. His presence brought warmth, laughter, devotion, and a deep sense of connection wherever he went. Through kirtan, service, and simply the way he lived, he uplifted countless hearts around the world.
But above all, Shiva was a loving and dedicated son. He was the primary caretaker for his mother, Radha Baum, supporting her day-to-day life with unwavering love and commitment. His passing has left not only an immense emotional void, but also a very real and immediate financial challenge for Radha and his father Mohan. We are coming together as a community to support his family during this incredibly difficult time.
Funds raised will go toward cremation and memorial expenses, immediate living and housing costs, and ongoing support as Radha and Mohan navigate life after his passing. Shiva gave so much to all of us—now it is our turn to give back. If you were ever touched by his kindness, his devotion, or his presence, we invite you to contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small. And if you’re not able to donate, sharing this page is a powerful way to help. Let’s come together in the spirit of seva (selfless service) and love—the very qualities Shiva embodied so fully. May we honor his life by supporting the ones he loved most. With love and gratitude, the community.
