Memorial Day hits deep—it’s a time to honor those who gave it all, like our brothers, SGT Oscar Arreguin & SSG Roberto DeLeon. These two heroes poured everything into the Army and the 1244th. Their memories are always on my mind and I miss them every day. One day isn’t enough to honor Oscar and Roberto, so I’m dedicating all of May to their legacy. For years, our family has marched on Memorial Day weekend to keep their memories alive. We love how folks stop us to ask about the heroes we carry on our backs.
