It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Scott Perley Hartford, who left us peacefully on 07/19/25 at the age of 64. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering strength.

Scott battled through eight years on dialysis and faced his final challenge—lymphoma cancer—with dignity and grace over the past year. Despite the hardships, he never let his spirit dim and continued to be a source of strength and inspiration to those around him.

He is survived by his loving wife and daughter (Paige Hartford) wife-Linda Hartford his lifelong partner and closest companion, whose love and care carried him through life’s toughest battles. Together, they built a family rooted in kindness, laughter, and unconditional love.

Scott was a proud grandfather of more than a dozen grandchildren, each of whom he cherished deeply. His eyes would light up in their presence, and his joy was never greater than when surrounded by their energy and affection. To them, he was not only a grandfather but a hero—gentle, wise, and endlessly loving.

Though we mourn his passing, we celebrate a life richly lived—a life that touched so many with warmth, courage, and quiet strength. He will be remembered always, missed deeply, and loved forever.

A memorial service will be held on a later date at a closed location, where family and friends are welcome to gather and honor his memory.
