The Sandra J. Morin Memorial Scholarship has been created to honor the life, hard work and dedication of a beautiful woman. Raised and educated in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Sandra was a graduate of the Lawrence High School Class of 1972. Sandra had a beautiful soul. Her empathy and trustworthiness lead her down a fulfilling and respected career path. Sandra spent her working years as a paraprofessional, working first at Mass Cerebral Palsy school in Andover and continuing her career with the Lawrence School Department, where she retired in 2018 after 17 years of service. She had unconditional love for those she cared for and taught and loved to see their smiles and hear their laughter. In honor of the late Sandra J. Morin, the Sandra J. Morin Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to one Lawrence High School Senior who embodies hard work, dedication and a love of helping others. This student is committed to furthering their education at the college of their choice, with a concentration in Special Education, General Education, Social Work, or any helping profession.
