Hello my name is Vanessa, my family and I are raising funds for my brother’s funeral services. Ronnie was a son, father, brother, uncle and great uncle. The love of his life was his son, Mateo, he always said how proud he was of him and tried teaching him everything he knew before the disease took over. They both love sushi and would have sushi zoom dates when he couldn’t go out anymore. My brother lived in Yosemite for a few years, loved it and always wished to go back. His final wish is for some of his ashes to be spread in his favorite place. He was the biggest Dodger fan, and at bedtime he would always say “sleep with the Dodgers” Ronnie loved cooking so much he pursued that passion and went to Le Cordon Bleu. He ended up being a chef for 20+ years working in multiple establishments until 2013 when he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis is one of the most severe stages of this disease, so for 10+ years he fought and fought. My brother fought as hard and as long as he could, by the end of it all he was unable to walk, talk, use his arms, hands, legs , or even eat anymore. For those of you who are unaware of this disease, it slowly starts taking away your ability to function in your own body, it gets to a point where you’re bed bound unable to do anything for yourself. It’s a devastating disease and heartbreaking for those who witnessed its progression. His battle ended October 28th, 2025 @11:30am although we miss him terribly we find comfort knowing he isn’t suffering anymore. Please help us say goodbye and honor him one more time.
