Honor Ron Lowe's Mission: Help Publish His Spiritual Wisdom!

Greetings, community & spiritual family! The goal of this fund is to publish & distribute my father, Ron Lowe's book, entitled The Soul.

As many of you know, Ron recently passed away. He self-published a book many years ago & distributed it to the community hand to hand for free. The book is a compilation of spiritual knowledge he felt called to share, written after waking from a near-death experience over 30 years ago, as well as anonymous papers filled with inspiring quotes about life, the mind, body, & spirit that he distributed throughout California for decades, spreading wisdom & joy.

I made a commitment to my father before he passed to edit, publish & distribute the book so it could reach a wider audience. He was very excited at the prospect, saying "Oh, that would be so wonderful! I just don't have the energy anymore, but I would love it if someone else could take over & carry on the project."

The funds will go towards editing, bibliography research, typesetting, self-publishing, marketing, & distribution costs. I plan to format the book similar to the classic, Be Here Now.

Any donation amount is welcome! $50 donation reward will be a paperback print of the book. Patrons donating $100 will receive a hardcover copy of the book. Multiples will be honored as well so if you donate $500, you will receive five hardcovers, etc.

Proceeds from sales of the book & additional funding will go towards building free book exchange installations engraved with his name to honor him & the many book exchanges he started in his 40 plus years as a resident of Nevada County.

The next project will be to compile a his articles, letters to the editor, haikus & photos to create a coffee table book of his work.

Thank you for your support. Ron loved his community so much & your love for him gave him a truly wonderful life. The communion of this shared fondness for one another & our local cultural interest in progressive ideology, holistic well-being, & spiritual growth blessed my father with great purpose & a spark that kept his youthful soul in awe of life even as his physical body waned.

We are so excited to infuse this passion project of my father's with new energy & get it out into the world!

Side Note: If you are in possession of a full copy of Ron's book that he gifted you many years ago, please let me know. I would love to get ahold of one. I have one copy & I am not entirely sure if it is in the correct order or if it includes every page, although he did tell me the order didn't particularly matter, which, if you knew the man, was a very characteristic thing of him to say.
