For those of you who knew Rocky, you knew he was unique. What some people may not know is that he loved with his whole heart and made many sacrifices for those he loved. Rocky has experienced tremendous pain the last couple of years and been in and out of the hospital. A few months ago he fell and hit his head, which he never fully recovered from. After many falls and hospital visits since then, Rocky overexerted himself on Friday and went to sleep and never woke up. He was found by friends on Saturday unresponsive. He was airlifted to Lafayette where they determined his brain was traumatized too much with an accumulation of blood around his brain, was inoperable, and he was not going to make it. Rocky was declared brain dead a few days shy of his 60th birthday. Arrangements are being made to put his body to rest but he was on disability and barely able to make ends meet, so help is needed! His family asks for help toward expenses and a proper service and celebration of life for him. Rocky was a fighter but there is only so much a person can go through. He loved his two kids beyond measure and family & friends were very precious to him. He longed for strong relationships & friendships and for people to love him as much as he loved them. He had a servant's heart and was helping his friends up until his last days because that's who he was. He lived with a broken heart but still found the good in people through his pain.
