Honor Robert Noel: Support His Memorial Fund

Obituary:

Robert Dale Noel, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at his home in Clinton, Missouri surrounded by his family. Robert's wishes were to be cremated. Inurnment will take place in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Robert Noel Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Robert Dale Noel was born on October 16, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri. Bob loved his dog Tootsie, they have been best friends since 2019. He loved going camping with his wife Evelyn and his grandchildren. He also loved his M&M's and word puzzles.

He was a first class petty officer in the United States Navy for 6 years during the Vietnam War. He built everything from runways to guonset huts and everything in between. After Vietnam he opened up his own roofing and remodeling business. He stayed active in the business till death.

He was an avid smoker he loved taking walks and sitting on the front porch while smoking. Bob was known as Papa or Uncle Bob to many of those around him. He and 2 of his grandsons had been on his pontoon boat and were asked if they were willing to take a picture. That picture was published in the Benton County Enterprise newspaper. In this photo Bob was wearing his favorite hair hat that he always said replaced his oun hair.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Sidney Noel and Gertrude (Mitchell) Hayworth, his siblings Mary Shepherd and Jimmy Hutchenson, and his mother-in-law Geneva Stout.

Survivors include his wife Evelyn of the home, his four children; Jay (Susan)Noel of Greenwood, Missouri, Michael (Autumn) Balentine of Raymore, Missouri, Chipper (Amanda) Balentine of Raymore, Missouri, and Nikki(Derek) McBride of Orlando, Florida, 9 grandchildren; Catlyn, Andrew (Alyssa), Braden, Alexis, Alison, Logan, Trevor, Lexi, and Fiona, and one great granddaughter Monroe, his four siblings; Ronnie Noel of Texas, Ricky Hayworth of Missouri, Sid Noel of Florida, and Marion Knotts of Belton, Missouri, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
