Robert Huber was a very giving and caring person who loved his family, his dogs, farming, and anything that involved the outdoors... especially hunting and fishing. Anyone who was fortunate enough to have met Robert knows how great of a person he was. He never met a stranger and always seemed to sport a smile no matter what was happening.
I met Robert sort of by chance. He drove the garbage truck for the city, and one day while picking up our can, he stopped. (I had no idea who Robert was at this point) but he stopped and asked, "Do you guys ever look for places to train?" I told him, "All the time." His response was, "Well, I have a pond and some ground not too far from here. If you would like to take a look, I could take you out there when I finish my route." The rest is history. That is the guy Robert was, willing to share his property with a complete stranger and always willing to go out of his way to help in any way he could. I know it brought Robert great joy to share his pond and property with everyone, especially with the dogs.
Please help us do something special to remember this truly special individual. The money will be used to purchase some kind of memorial to put out at the pond that brought him so much joy.
