Help Support Bob Conner's Memorial Service
Our beloved Robert "Bob" Conner, a member of the Iowa Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and cherished figure in the Sigourney community, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025. While Bob filled countless lives with music and joy through his legendary guitar playing at the Stone Pony Pub and beyond, his family is now facing unexpected memorial expenses.
Bob and his wife Jerre had made arrangements with a body donation company to handle his final arrangements, but the company unexpectedly ceased operations without notice, leaving his widow with unforeseen memorial costs. After a lifetime of bringing music and laughter to others as a local musician and craftsman, we're asking for your help to give Bob the memorial service he deserves.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease this burden for Jerre and allow us to properly honor Bob's memory. Your support will help cover:
- Memorial service expenses
- Celebration of life gathering
- Final arrangements
- Medical and Hospital expenses from the last few months.
Bob touched many lives through his music, his humor, and his kindness. He was more than just a talented musician - he was a loving husband, father to 4 children and 5 stepchildren, grandfather to 18, and great-grandfather to 2. He and Jerre created a home for blues music lovers at their Stone Pony Pub, where countless memories were made and friendships forged.
We deeply appreciate any support you can offer to help us honor this remarkable man who gave so much to his community. Thank you for helping us celebrate Bob's life and legacy.
With gratitude,
Jerre Conner and Family
