Rick Heyman - celebrating a Life of Family, Friendships, Music and Love!

On Thursday, March 5, we unexpectedly lost Rick Heyman, a loving partner of 37 years to Theresa, step-father, Poppy, son, brother, uncle, and friend to so many, particularly in the music scene. Rick was a man whose laughter was infectious and whose presence brought joy to all who knew him. His devotion to his family and friends was unwavering, and he took immense pride in his work, ensuring every band he worked with sounded flawless. We will all miss his laughter and warmth deeply.

For the past several years, Rick has been the primary caregiver for Theresa, his beloved partner since 1987, who lives with dementia. He loved her more than anything and dedicated himself fully to her care. The family is heartbroken by this sudden loss, and Theresa is feeling the absence of her lifelong partner in an incredibly profound way.

Rick’s passing has left a void that cannot be filled, and the family is now faced with the difficult task of reorganizing Theresa’s care. As the family navigates these challenging times, we are reaching out to Rick’s community for support.
