On November 13th, 2025 at 6:57pm we lost my grandmother Reyna Huerta Garcia she had a very unexpected death she had a fall that broke her leg and was rushed to the hospital because of the fracture. The surgery was successful but that’s when we got the bad news about her blood pressure dropped during the procedure. Then all the health issues happened, out of nowhere her kidneys weren’t functioning so they put her on dialysis and her liver wasn’t functioning they gave her a feeding tube and medication that ended up affecting the other meds she was on so they had to stop it and couldn’t do anything else. The doctors did everything they could to try to keep her alive and get her organs to function but she spent her last 5 days in the hospitals ICU where the doctors told us they have done everything they can to try to get her organs to function properly and nothing was working.

She was a loved by everyone and her passing hit our family really hard. She had came from Mexico for 6 months on her visa we brought her here to be reunited with her daughters that she hasn’t seen for 24 years. My mother and her sister tried to make up for the time for the 24 years they spent apart we are grateful we were able to spend the time we had with her she met grandchildren she was never able to see in person. we don’t have the fund to fulfill her wishes of being buried in her home town in Veracruz, Mexico. We would like to reach out and ask for donations to help us fulfill her dreams, we are gonna be running other types of fundraisers to help pay for her funeral expenses but any donations would be greatly appreciated.
