On February 10, 2025, our amazing friend and life partner didn't wake up. Rebecca Salter passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with congestive heart failure and medication side effects that would often make her symptoms worse. Though she had not been able to participate in some of her favorite activities for almost 2 years, that didn't stop her from gardening, raising chickens, cooking and canning for the people she loved, and making the best of every day with her morbid sense of humor, "that's what she said," and fart jokes.

Rebecca served in the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm, but has no death benefits coming from them because they "LOST" her entire service record. This also meant she wasn't able to receive any medical treatment through the V.A. As of today, April 2, 2025, Rebecca has remained unclaimed by her "family" and was considered "abandoned."

Myself, her partner Tim, and a small group of her friends decided she has been ignored and neglected long enough and have claimed her and are moving forward with her arrangements. Please help us honor the memory of this awesome human, mother, friend, firearms enthusiast, and wilderness EMT.
