Family and friends on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, my family lost Raymond (Ray), Lopez Jr., 51 years old.

 

Ray is my ex-husband and the father of our 11-year-old daughter Isabella.

 

Ray’s death was unexpected; I had just spoken to him on the phone the day before.

 

If you knew Ray for even five minutes, you knew how much he loved our daughter Isabella. Ray was the definition of a “girl dad,” it’s one of the reasons why I married him.

 

Ray was always there for Isabella no matter what; he even drove her to school that Tuesday morning.

 

Our lives have changed dramatically, Ray’s life insurance policy was no longer active, and I will need to make sure that I can take care of and care for Isabella as her sole single parent. All funds raised will be used to support Isabella’s daily needs, such as school uniforms, extracurricular activities, participation in Wild Grief (a support group/program), and a college fund for Isabella to go to art school.

 

Please help to honor Ray’s legacy Isabella, as I step into my role of “girl mom.”
