On Saturday, November 16th, our beloved Raquel suffered a severe asthma attack which led to cardiac arrest. Raquel fought hard to stay here for her two daughters; but after a long battle, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced legally brain dead.

This tragedy affects countless lives, but most especially her daughters. Anyone who knew Raquel will understand how wonderful she was and how deeply she will be missed. Raquel was the type of person who gave without any expectation. She was the type of person who could laugh with you, cry with you, and hold your hand through even the worst of times. She had a smile that could light up an entire room. She had a hug that could fix anything. Raquel truly had a heart of gold.

At this time, her family is asking for support to send her off with all of the beauty and honor that she deserves.
