On Monday, our best friend's mom, Rachell Summers, tragically lost her life in a senseless act of violence. Her passing has left a deep void in the lives of everyone who loved her, especially her grandson. Rachell became a grandmother for the very first time last year, and her only grandchild will soon be celebrating his first birthday. Rachell was a loving and devoted grandmother, mom, and friend who loved her community. She dreamt of a bright future for her grandchild and hoped to see him pursue his education. In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, we want to honor her memory by giving her grandson a chance to build the future she wished for him.

All funds raised through this campaign will go directly into a 529 college fund for Rachell's grandchild. This support will help ensure that, despite the pain and uncertainty he faces, he will have the opportunity to follow his dreams and access the education Rachell so deeply valued.
