Honor Prashant Bhargava: A Decade Later
Donation protected
Prashant Bhargava was a creator. His art and films are lyrical anthems of the underground, that transcend and flow through boundaries, finding confluence on street corners and in kitchens, and truths in fires and skies. And he created spaces - intimate, revelatory, grimy, jarring, unchartered, homey, and illuminated - that served as places of discovery, where our energies and stories were savored, lingered and took shape.
He was a seer, who reflected and clarified our uncertainties and wounds, our faith and fears. He led us to wander in the depths and fractals of color and light.
He walked with us. And let our paths reveal their own speed and key and rhythm.
He took his last journey on May 15, 2015. On this 10th anniversary of his passing, we are continuing to live his smile, his light, his struggle, and his love.
On this 10th anniversary, many of you have asked for ways to donate to the Prashant Bhargava Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship supports a graduating senior at Kenwood Academy in Chicago who seeks to pursue film and/or the visual arts.
