Honor Philip Van Zandt: Secure His Final Rest

Donation protected
I am Bob Satterfield, Grand Sheik Emeritus of the Way Out West Tent of the Sons of the Desert (the international Laurel and Hardy club). I've been involved in organizing many headstones and niches for actors in world of Hal Roach Studios, Laurel and Hardy or Our Gang Comedies who have been unmarked or ashes unclaimed in the vaults over the years. Below is some information on the subject of this campaign, Philip Van Zandt.

Philip Van Zandt (October 4, 1904 – February 15, 1958), sometimes billed as Phil Van Zandt, was a Dutch-American actor of stage, film, and television. He made nearly 250 film and television appearances between 1939 and 1958. Born Philip Pinheiro in Amsterdam, he was brought to the United States when he was five months old in March 1905. (Wikipedia)

He appeared with Laurel and Hardy in “The Big Noise” and “Air Raaid Wardens” and was in about 15 Three Stooges Shorts. He had a small but important role in “Citizen Kane” as Mr. Rawlston.

Philip’s ashes have been sitting on a shelf in Vault Two at the Chapel of the Pines since his death in 1958. This fundraising campaign hopes to bring in enough funds to have his remains placed in his own private vault inside the chapel with five other Laurel and Hardy co-stars. Any donation you could make would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
