Honor Penny Minich: Support Cardinal Gibbons HS Wrestling

100% of your donation will go towards a scholarship donated to the Cardinal Gibbons High School Wrestling team in honor of Penny "Ms. Penny" Minich to help current student-athletes on the wrestling team.

Penny dedicated over 26 years of her life to Cardinal Gibbons High School as a staff member and yearbook coordinator. Her passion for education and mentorship left an indelible mark on the lives of countless students and colleagues. Beyond the classroom, Penny’s compassion extended far and wide as she quietly supported students in need, never seeking recognition for her selflessness.

Penny and Jim worked closely with the coaches and student athletes at Cardinal Gibbons during their tenure with the high school. Their passion for wrestling started when Jim wrestled in high school in Pennsylvania. Penny loved attending the matches and traveling to tournaments with the team year after year. She helped so many student athletes achieve their academic and life goals by offering a safe space for them. This scholarship in her name will go directly to the CG wrestling team and continue to support these young men achieve their goals.

A celebration of Penny’s life will be held on Saturday March 8, 2025 at Galuppis’s in Pompano Beach at 11:30am-2:30pm.
