We never imagined we’d be writing this.
On May 12th, 2025, my beloved daughter Pearlene Gingles Lacroix—“Pearl” to those who knew and loved her—was found after what we’ve been told were over three weeks of being left outside and alone. The people she trusted most abandoned her when she needed them, and now we’re left with more pain than we can express.
Pearl was just 47. She deserved better. She deserved love, comfort, and dignity—not just in life, but in death.
Pearl was a daughter, mom, a grandma, a sister and a friend with a heart as big as the sky. She laughed loud, loved hard, and gave freely—even when she had little herself.
We are asking for help to lay her to rest with honor and grace. Funeral costs are overwhelming, and we want to give her the goodbye she deserves. If we raise enough, anything left will go to her children and grandchildren who are grieving deeply.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any help—be it a donation, a share, or a prayer.
With love and gratitude,
Gingles Lacroix family
