This week, we lost Pastor Pierre—our beloved father, grandfather, and spiritual leader—who passed away suddenly from a seizure in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He spent his life pouring himself out for others: rescuing people during the 2010 earthquake, fostering children, running a school, pastoring a church in one of the poorest communities, and leading countless people to the Lord. His love was steady, his faith unshakable, and his impact immeasurable.

Now, in the midst of deep grief, we’re facing the reality of trying to give him a proper burial in a country overwhelmed by crisis. Haiti is in total collapse—riddled with gang violence, extreme poverty, and no functioning government. Travel is dangerous, and funeral costs are overwhelming.
