It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my grandpa, Papi Ruben. He battled cancer for 3 long years and unfortunately lost. Though his fight was long and filled with challenges, he faced every day with strength, dignity, and courage. He never once complained about his pain or what he was going through. He never wanted us to know how uncomfortable he was. He was an inspiration to all who knew him, and his legacy of kindness, love, and generosity will live on in all of us who knew him. He was more than a grandpa; he was a constant source of wisdom, love, and strength.
