I am Augusta Foster III however, many people know me by the title I gained and wore with honor over the years: “Pam’s Son”

We are utilizing Go Fund Me for an opportunity to bring awareness to the Pamela Jones Community & Education Foundation. We invite you to support a fund created in honor of an extraordinary woman whose lifelong dedication to faith, family, education, and community continues to inspire generations. Her tireless work in the San Pedro, Carson, Harbor Gateway, and Los Angeles areas reshaped housing laws, expanded opportunities for first-generation Americans, and championed educational and employment rights for formerly incarcerated individuals. My mother built bridges where there were walls and gave a voice to those often unheard.

This fund and the Pamela Newson Scholarship, will carry her legacy forward by providing opportunities to students pursuing careers in community service, social work, or counseling—fields that reflect her mission to create lasting social change and cohesive communities. By contributing, you are not only honoring her life’s work but also empowering future change agents to not just follow in her footsteps but, pave new roads.

The Pamela Jones Community & Education Foundation is in the final steps for being recognized as a 501 (c)(3) recognized organization, meaning all contributions are tax deductible. Upon formal recognition, all persons who have donated will receive receipt of their donation and a special thank you from the family.
