The Long Beach Poly Varsity Football Team has shown incredible heart and resilience this season. As one of the senior parents, I’ve watched these players support each other and stand tall, even when the season they dreamed of was cut short by circumstances beyond their control. They lost their chance to finish what they started, but they should not lose their chance to be honored for everything they gave to the team and the community.
This banquet is more than just a meal—it’s a moment of closure, a chance for these athletes to be recognized and celebrated for their hard work, commitment, and the way they carried themselves when everything else was stripped away. We can’t give them back the games they lost, but we can give them a night that tells them loud and clear: “We saw you. We’re proud of you. You mattered.”
We’re coming together as parents, former players, and community members to raise funds for a banquet that truly reflects the spirit of these young athletes. Every contribution will go directly toward giving them a night to remember, honoring their dedication and the way they handled a situation that was completely out of their control. If you believe students deserve to be celebrated for their resilience, please donate and share. Your support will help us show these players that their hard work still matters.
