Honor Nathan's Service: Support His Son's Future
Donation protected
Nathan Rogers was a friend to many, but he was a very close friend to me. We were extremely supportive of each other in all goals we set for ourselves. I told him about the 18-mile Norwegian Foot March when I was asked by my unit to participate, he told me I was crazy but that I should do it and he would train with me to prepare. It was something we were looking forward to. Unfortunately, a cowardly act of jealousy and violence took Nathan away from us. I am determined to help him accomplish as many goals he had as possible.
Nathan was a great father and was extremely proud of his son Nathan Jr. He had plans to create a college fund for him to get a head start in life. This was a huge driving force behind his dedication to the Inland Kava Bar he owned and operated. Nathan was a proud, honorably discharged US Coast Guard Veteran. I have decided to dedicate this military event to him as a way of him keeping his word to me to help me train, as a thank you to him for his military service and to help him keep the goal he set for himself to set his son up for success.
I will do all the running. You will see me through town wearing a 30 pound rucksack with a QR code on my back Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday regardless of what the weather looks like. I will post the route I ran including a picture at the end of every run. I have led by example and made the first monetary donation into Nathan Jr`s account. I will be participating in the Norwegian Foot March held on a military base in Southern California on April 12th and will post pictures during the trip and final results. I also plan to take it a step further and ruck the Bloomsday race in Spokane.
I just ask that you help accomplish Nathan`s goals by sharing our cause and by donating in any amount you can comfortably afford. Every single dollar sent through this fundraiser goes directly into a secure, high yield memorial account in Jr`s name, which can only be accessed by him when he turns 18.
Thank you all for your generosity and support!
As Nathan would say, "BULA!!!"
100% OF ALL MONEY RAISED GOES INTO A HIGH YIELD TRUST IN NATHAN JRS NAME. Upon turning 18, he will have full control over the account.
