Nate the Great
It is with the heaviest of hearts we share that our dad, husband, brother and son has passed away unexpectedly, doing what he loved, running.
Nate was a hero to us all, teaching us about patience, doing hard things, kindness, and always showing us by example how to love all those who got to know him.
Nate wasn’t afraid to talk of Christ or preach of Christ because he truly lived like our Savior Jesus Christ, it’s like he truly knew him...
In this time of grief we as a family are reaching out for support to help Jennifer and their amazing eight children handle the challenges that come from losing their father and sole provider. His beautiful kids range in age from 3-18. Reese their oldest just started her church mission and was at the airport when she received the news.
Support can come through many different means, love, financial, friendship and kindness.
In this time to honor Nate we want to share a challenge to celebrate the life of Nate the Great, to go out and do something great. Maybe it’s a smile, an act of kindness or curiosity to learn something new, share a funny story with a family member, listen with genuine love and interest to someone else's story as he would often do, or even do something hard you’re scared to do. We know Nate will smile down on you when you do, with his all knowing and all loving smile he always shared so generously.
We love you Jennifer, kiddos and Nate. We can’t wait to celebrate the day of reunion for your eternal family!
Funeral arrangements have not been made and we will update here as we are able.
