Con profunda tristeza y gran pesar compartimos el fallecimiento de Nairobi (Dalila) Villanueva-Calderón, quien trágicamente perdió la vida luego de un accidente automovilístico hoy, 12 de enero de 2025, temprano en la mañana.

Dejó dos hijos, uno en Guatemala al cuidado de su madre y otro aquí con ella. Como madre soltera, vino de Guatemala a VA en diciembre de 2022, buscando el "sueño americano" para trabajar y mantener a su familia. Su partida definitiva ha dejado un vacío en las vidas de quienes la amaban y ahora necesitamos ayuda para traerla a su casa en Guatemala para su lugar de descanso final.

La familia de Nairobi se enfrenta a la abrumadora tarea de cubrir los gastos de su funeral y de viaje para garantizar que descanse en su tierra natal. Cualquier contribución, sin importar el tamaño, será profundamente apreciada y ayudará a aliviar la carga de sus seres queridos durante este momento increíblemente difícil.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Nairobi (Dalila) Villanueva-Calderon, who tragically lost her life following a car accident today, January 12, 2025, early in the morning.

She left behind two sons, one in Guatemala in the care of her mother, and one here with her. As a single mother, she came from Guatemala to VA in December 2022, looking for the "American Dream" to work and provide for her family. Her ultimate departure has left a void in the lives of those who loved her, and now we need help to bring her home to Guatemala for her final resting place.

Nairobi's family is faced with the overwhelming task of covering her funeral and travel expenses to ensure she is laid to rest in her homeland. Any contribution, no matter the size, will be deeply appreciated and help ease the burden on her loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
