Many of us benefited from the Sedan Schools music program under the direction of Robert Warrender. If you were in band, you knew the excitement of doing the Warrender Corner while marching. Many of us learned choreography for home halftime shows in football, and the A Capella Choir was an honor choir that brought home many 1 ratings from contests. Mr. Warrender's dedication and passion for music left a lasting impression on everyone he taught.

The Teacher Honor Roll at The Hollow honors teachers of Chautauqua County on a plaque with a biography of each honored teacher. Most recipients are submitted by their family, but Mr. Warrender was not married and had no children of his own. We, his students, were his family. There has never been a more deserving teacher to be recognized in this way, and we want to ensure his legacy is remembered for generations to come.

The cost to submit a teacher to the honor roll is covered by donations. If you would like to help, please consider contributing to this special tribute. Any excess funds will go to The Hollow.
