For Mr. Bob
Mayland Robert Dulac, lovingly known as Mr. Bob, was more than Marvin’s neighbor. He became a dear friend, family, and to so many people online, the “Internet Grandpa.” Mr. Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force, and now that he has passed, Marvin wants to make sure he is laid to rest with the honor, dignity, and respect he deserves. Many people believe the VA covers the full cost of a veteran’s funeral, but in reality, burial benefits often provide only partial assistance, leaving important final expenses still to be paid.
This fundraiser will help cover Mr. Bob’s funeral, memorial, burial, transportation, and other final expenses as Marvin works to honor his life and military service. Over the past few months, so many people followed their journey, sent cards, offered prayers, shared encouragement, and showed Mr. Bob love from near and far. Marvin is asking Mr. Bob’s friends, followers, fellow veterans, and everyone whose heart he touched to come together for him one final time. Any donation, no matter the size, will help. And if giving is not possible, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much. Thank you for every prayer, donation, share, card, and kind word given in memory of Mr. Bob.
We would like to use Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors in Albany, Georgia, a locally owned funeral home that has served families since 1880.
This location is especially meaningful because Mr. Bob already has a burial spot there beside his beloved wife and one of his sons who has passed away. ❤️
Our goal is to honor Mr. Bob properly and allow him to be laid to rest with his family. Any support toward making that possible is truly appreciated.
