In Loving Memory of Montique Duncan (Jenkins) Supporting Her Children & Final Arrangements: on behalf of her 5 children.
On November 1st, our family experienced a tragedy that we are still struggling to understand. Our beloved Montique Duncan (Jenkins) was taken from us due to domestic violence. She was a mother, a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a friend and a bright light with a laugh that could soften any moment. Her spirit was loving, goofy, stylish, and unforgettable.
What hurts most is that her youngest children witnessed this tragedy. No child should ever have to see or carry that pain. Their world changed in a moment, and our family is doing everything we can to surround them with love, stability, and support. But we cannot do it alone.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18
We are holding on to this promise, trusting God to cover her children and our family as we move through this heartbreak.
We are asking for help to raise $100,000 to cover:
• Funeral and memorial expenses to honor Montique with dignity
• Therapy and emotional support for her children, who need healing and care
• Living and stability support to help ensure her kids have a safe, consistent environment and the ability to assist with future needs.
• Any final expenses that come with laying her to rest and supporting her babies through the unimaginable
Montique was full of life. She was funny, loving, and beautiful. She deserved more time. Her children deserved more time. And while we cannot change what happened, we can choose to stand for them now.
