Our sweet beloved mother has been sick for months. She’s been on dialysis for years due to her kidneys not functioning properly. For months now eating has been too painful for her so she’s only been able to eat small bites and small quantities of food daily which led to her being malnourished. On Sunday she went into the hospital as fluid was building on her liver. On Wednesday August 5th Mom was in the hospital getting dialysis when her heart went into A fib. Doctors said she was too weak for dialysis and they were afraid if they tried again that her heart would go into a fib again as she was too weak to do dialysis, they said if that happened they would be unable to bring her back. Doctors said there was nothing they could do for her at this point, feeding tubes would just prolong everything but wouldn’t fix anything, dialysis no longer worked and her liver as well as kidneys had already started shutting down fully. After talking to the doctors and all her family she decided it was time to make funeral arrangements and helped plan her funeral, she expressed that she didn’t want to die in a hospital and she would like to go visit Branson to get her hair and nails done and go watch the show “David”. It took 2 days to make the 4 hour car ride as she was too exhausted. Once we got her there we got her perm and she was so happy but you could see she just wasn’t herself, there was no life left in her, we took her to a hotel to get some rest and she became delirious, she wouldn’t respond to anyone, wouldn’t talk, wouldn’t acknowledge anyone and just had an empty stare and would cry out in pain. We decided if she made it through the night we were heading home and taking her to a hospital. The next morning we had to call fire and ems to help us get her in the car (it took 5 men). We got back to Bethany and immediately checked her into the hospital where they gave her morphine to keep her comfortable. She hasn’t moved or opened her eyes and her breathing is very labored. She’s surrounded by family, singing to her and comforting her, as we wait for her to depart this earth and reunite with her mom, son, and Jesus. Mom wants a funeral but we can’t afford $12,000. So we just ask for everyone’s help to make 1 last dying wish of hers come true. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you in advance for any shares or donations. Mom was a sweet lady with a heart of gold. She loved everyone and would appreciate all your shares and donations as well.
