On July 12th, our sweet Millie was welcomed into Heaven, embraced by Jesus and her two grandmothers, including one she'd waited her whole life to meet. We are heartbroken, and we miss her more than words can ever express, but we find comfort knowing she's finally free.

Millie faced her journey with DIPG the same way she lived—with courage, a creative spirit, and a heart full of love. At just 11 years old, she taught us all how to find joy in difficult days, whether through her beautiful artwork, her silly jokes with brother Zaire, or the way she continued to make everyone feel special in spite of the challenges she faced.

Our home feels different, empty without her laughter, and Zaire misses his best friend terribly. Our lives will never be the same without her. But we see Millie everywhere - in the art supplies she left behind, the songs she loved, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.
