Honor Mikey Cummings: Support for Kim, Max, and Ella
Donation protected
The Man, The Myth, The Legend.
Mikey Cummings was a lot of things. First and foremost, he was a husband to Kim and a father to Max and Ella. The proceeds from this fundraiser will go to them—to support them however they need during this difficult time. Please feel free to leave a note with your favorite memory of Mikey, he would of loved that. How to add words of support after a donation
Mikey had a way of seeing potential in people. That’s exactly what happened in 2014 when I met him at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. I was the house LD, green as could be. He came in with Old Crow Medicine Show, his Avolite console, and his famed mason jar rig.
He saw something in me, and we kept in touch. I know there are many out there with a similar story. He knew I wanted to be on the road, and by 2016, he’d convinced me to join him and the growing team in Nashville.
Mikey was not your average joe. He had a big heart, an artistic and intelligent mind, and a passion none of us could match. For the four years I worked at Pulse lighting, he was not only my boss and advocate, he was a friend and while I lived in Nashville, he became my family.
He cared deeply for the people around him. He never hesitated to offer a seat at his table on the holidays, a roof over someone’s head, or a hit of really good weed if he thought it might help. That was just who he was—generous, real, and unafraid to show up.
I’m struggling to imagine a world without him in it. There was strife, of course, like with any close relationship—but those aren’t the memories that rise to the surface when I think of him now. What comes to mind is what he taught me, how he lifted me up, and how much he truly cared.
To Kim, Max, and Ella- I know you will keep Mikey's memory alive with every breath you take. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope this page can serve as a place of light during this dark time. He loved you both with everything he had. Everything he did, he did for you.
