On October 16, 2024, Col. Michael “Rags” Seltzer passed away after a heroic battle with cancer. Mike likely contracted cancer as a result of exposure to toxic chemicals while deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan and was specifically recognized for his courage and sacrifice by Speaker Nancy Pelosi during the signing of the PACT Act.

Mike leaves behind an amazing, loving wife, Kat, and three beautiful children, Oliver, Penny, and Evie. This GoFundMe is to honor Mike’s memory and contribute to a college fund for his children.
