A message from Miguel’s son .

My dad was probably the most down-to-earth person I knew. At the same time, he could be the craziest—in the best way.

He always put me and my siblings first and never hesitated to help anyone in need. I don’t need to say much about how great he was—his actions spoke louder than words. If you knew my dad, then you already know the kind of person he was.

My siblings and I created this GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses and anything else life may bring our way during this difficult time.

Anything helps—truly, anything. We are so grateful for all the support.

Mi papá fue probablemente la persona más sencilla y real que conocí. También, en el mejor sentido.

Siempre nos puso a mí y a mis hermanos primero y nunca dudó en ayudar a quien lo necesitara. No necesito decir mucho sobre lo gran hombre que fue—sus acciones hablaban más fuerte que cualquier palabra. Si conociste a mi papá, entonces ya sabes qué tipo de persona era.
