My sister, Middy - Midaina Marrero Carroll was a 26-year-old vibrant young woman, Army National Guard for over 6 years, and Francis Marion University was her Alma Mater. She had a bright aspiration of joining the FBI and furthering her military career. She was working and living in Charlotte with a childhood caretaker who remarried in the past year. She was pronounced dead upon arrival by Charlotte's PD after being found along a train rail. They assumed she was hit by a passing train but only two (2) bruises were found on her body; a gash across the back of her head, and another on her right side. No broken bones within her torso, hands, feet, arms, or legs were found during her preliminary investigation. Getting her body home and putting her to rest properly in addition to honoring her legacy is the mission.
