Cole & Michelle Seigel moved form Iowa to Oklahoma during the Covid pandemic to follow their dream of building a farm together and to be closer to family as Cole's father battled dementia. They found a special place in Tahlequah and poured their hearts into their new home, Michelle became deeply involved in the local horse riding community and Cole built a music career in Tulsa. On Sunday, August 24th tragedy struck. While Cole was away in Tulsa working, a fire consumed their home. Michelle lost her life along with their beloved pets: Beau, Kaia, Lou and Solomon. Their home was destroyed, but the farm still stands with horses, mules, goats, ducks, chickens, pigs and two outside rescue dogs who now depend on Cole to keep the farm going. Cole is now faced with the unimaginable task of grieving the loss of his wife and animals, while also trying to rebuild and care for the farm they worked so hard to create. This fund will help cover immediate needs as they pertain to burial costs, the ongoing care of the animals and interim living expenses while Cole navigates repairs to his home.
